Job Description:

Our international operating client located in Aliso Viejo is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting function to assist with all aspects of their daily and monthly accounting responsibilities. The Senior Accountant, reporting to the Controller, will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Prepare various journal entries for balance sheet accounts and related period end reconciliations Assist with the period end close process with heavy involvement in G/L account reconciliations, and related analysis Handle daily check deposits and receipts and reconcile related bank activity Prepare A/P invoices by obtaining approval and matching with appropriate receiving documentation Provide support in other areas such as sales and use tax and payroll Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects and identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies The qualified Senior Accountant will possess: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting At least 5 years of G/L accounting experience including A/R, A/P, and payroll Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills (both written and verbal) Solid Excel skills along with prior experience with mid-to-large ERP systems The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment along with being pro-active, organized, and team oriented For additional details, candidates should submit their resume in MS Word format to teddy.kang@talentedsg.com.
