Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Commercial & Industrial Painting Project Manager / Cost Estimator to oversee projects from pre-bid analysis through final walkthrough. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality painting and coatings projects by combining accurate cost estimating, field leadership, and proactive client communication. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in commercial or industrial painting environments and understands how to balance budgets, schedules, and crew coordination. You will serve as the central point of contact for clients, field teams, and internal leadership—ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role is best suited for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced construction settings and is confident managing multiple projects at various stages. Core Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive proposals based on architectural drawings and specifications Develop project timelines and allocate labor resources effectively Supervise field operations, ensuring crews meet productivity, safety, and quality standards Track budgets, monitor job costs, and maintain profitability throughout the project lifecycle Communicate regularly with clients regarding progress updates, changes, and expectations Manage documentation including contracts, change orders, and project reporting Utilize estimating software and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting Coordinate material procurement and scheduling to prevent delays Requirements Proven experience managing commercial or industrial painting projects Strong background in estimating, bidding, and proposal development Ability to oversee multiple active job sites simultaneously Solid understanding of coatings, surface preparation, and production timelines Highly organized with strong attention to detail Effective communicator with a client-service mindset Proficient in estimating platforms and Microsoft Office Suite Benefits Full-time salaried position: $60,000 – $130,000 annually , plus performance-based bonuses Paid Time Off (PTO) and company-observed holidays Advancement opportunities within a growing organization Collaborative and supportive team environment Stable pipeline of commercial and industrial projects If you are a driven construction professional with strong estimating and project leadership experience in the painting industry, we encourage you to apply.
