Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies, and supports operating systems, database, or utilities software. Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Analyzes, designs, acquires, and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Plans, designs, acquires, and implements telecommunications voice/wire systems. At higher job levels, may contribute to the development, testing, evaluation, or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set.Minimum Qualifications:--- 4+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.OR7+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor's degree.Physical Requirements:--- Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.As a member of the Engineering IT Secure Environments team (IP Protection team), you will work in a project-based team that builds secure development environments designed to protect Qualcomm's IP while enabling engineering productivity. These environments are global and designed with diverse requirements and security controls. The technical lead for new HW Engg JV/ODC/3rd party engagements will lead the build of new environments implementing current security controls and infrastructure architecture, aligning with engineering needs. Strong Linux and Windows system administration skills, along with the ability to interpret requirements and execute tasks, are essential. Responsibilities include developing solutions, scripts, and processes to automate environment management and operations, supporting IT engineering services, managing ticket queues, and providing phone support as needed. Collaboration with hardware and software engineering teams, as well as IT peers, is critical.
