Wire Design & Installation Engineer (Experienced, Senior or Principal) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA), Out of Production Electrical Fleet Support organization has a great opportunity for a Wire Design and Installation Engineer (Experienced, Senior or Principal) in Seal Beach, CA. Position Overview: This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of the Out of Production (OoP) fleet. The OoP Electrical Design Engineering (DE) team is dedicated to providing exceptional compliance and technical support, driving initiatives such as the Continued Operational Safety Program (COSP) and addressing Safety Related Problems (SRP). Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced, Senior and Principal Wire Design and Installation Engineer. Position Responsibilities: Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry). Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops basic statements of work. Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design Works under general direction. Work Authorization: This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Seal Beach, CA. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 5 years of experience in an engineering discipline. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the area of Electrical equipment installation and wire routing design is desired. Experience on design tools such as ENOVIA, CATIA V5, WIRS, PDM and IVT would be beneficial. Summary Pay Range: Experienced (Level 3): $104,550 - $141,450 Senior (Level 4): $128,350 - $173,650 Principal (Level 5): $157,250 - $212,750 Additional Information: All information provided will be checked and may be verified.
