This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Coastal Medical Center in Encinitas.     • Manage daily staffing for assigned clinic operations in OBGYN for both clinical and clerical staff.
    • Works to ensure patient safety and contributes to patient satisfaction and achieving quality metrics.
    • Reports out on finances, patient satisfaction, quality metrics and employee engagement.
    • Coverage on floor as needed.
    • Ensure nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.
    • Ensure the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.
    • Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for the clinical staff and support staff, including managing daily staffing plans.
    • Be responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency.
    • Works in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care.
    • Management and development of clinical staff.
    • Contributes to operations management of assigned business unit(s).
    • Participates in budget planning and management.
    • Take proactive initiative in quality management.#LI-MR1
