Job Description:
Introduction Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an
experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing
care for cats and dogs. The hospital is dedicated to delivering
high-quality veterinary medicine while supporting the health and
wellbeing of pets and maintaining strong relationships with the
local community. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates Monday
to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM. The practice is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time
position. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate
Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality
medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of
patients. The role includes conducting thorough examinations,
diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests,
and developing appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities
involve performing routine surgical procedures, delivering
preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases,
prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records
in line with regulatory standards. Clear and compassionate
communication with clients is essential, ensuring pet owners
understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
You will collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure
efficient patient care while continuing professional development to
maintain clinical excellence. This position is open to experienced
veterinarians. Practice Details This family-oriented veterinary
hospital has been serving the Los Angeles community since 1986 with
high-quality care for cats and dogs. The hospital provides a range
of veterinary services including vaccinations, internal medicine,
dental care, emergency care, and cold laser therapy. Surgical
services are also offered to help treat disease and conditions or
repair injuries sustained through trauma, with procedures including
soft tissue surgery, spaying and neutering, C-sections, ocular
surgery, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery. The clinic
features an in-house veterinary diagnostics lab offering advanced
diagnostic testing to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, ultrasound,
bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, ECG/EKG, and digital dental
X-rays. Cold laser therapy is also available as part of the
hospital's treatment options. Team The hospital's team consists of
two DVMs supported by a dedicated group of veterinary technicians
and support staff. The team works closely together in a
collaborative and supportive environment, ensuring smooth daily
operations while maintaining a strong focus on delivering excellent
patient care and positive client experiences. Candidate
Requirements Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional
qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of
America (USA) Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to
obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
