Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista provides a variety of medical and surgical services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Within the hospital you’ll find our 24-hour emergency room and many other specialty services ranging from cancer care to stroke care. New Hire Incentive available up to $2,000 for those who qualify. /n /n This is a Part-Time position (40 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour varied evening shift (1500-2330). The schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays, with one varied day, and requires at least 2 call shifts per month. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent patient focused care. /n /n The following are not eligible for hiring incentives: /n /n - Internal candidates /n - Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago /n - New graduates (Must have 1 year if experience) /n /n In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met: /n /n - Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter) /n - Must remain in original department/specialty /n - Must remain in original Job Title /n - Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter. /n Required Qualifications: /n /n - One of the following is required: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredit. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required ARDMS or CCI /n /n /n - BLS from the American Heart Association /n - ARDMS or CCI /n /n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n /n - /n · 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting /n /n At Scripps Health, you will experience the pride, support and respect of an organization that has been repeatedly recognized as one of the nation’s Top 100 Places to Work. Position Pay Range: $57.65-$83.74/hour
